Quilted Junior Ranger Map

This Junior Ranger National Parks map was my first foray into applique. I used my cricut to cut out the fabric for the regions and then used raw edge applique to attach it. I then printed the outline of all the states, taped it on top, and quilted right through the paper to outline the states. When I was done quilting I pulled the paper off and had nice clean outlines.
